Sensory Sentences - Alyssa Vandiver

The big brown bear was eating cookies and crying hysterically in to the blanket because his chocolate was stolen by leaping pigs.

We had three bottles to put the green candles in to. This only took us two minutes to do so the rest of the day we listened to music and pet the dog. I brushed my teeth with toothpaste and took a nap.

There were three televisions in the perfume store. You could hear trucks delivering perfume to the store. No one knew what to do with it all so I took the reins and put everything away in the store. Later I rewarded myself with some cheese for all my hard work. I was falling for the guy next to the perfume store who sold rings.

The family had spaghetti for dinner, and everyone had to clean up afterwards. The mother washed the dishes with soap, the father put away the fan, the brother washed all the glass, and the sister put away the Dr. Pepper. The family had such a great time cooking they took a picture so they'd never forget.

My roommate and I moved in to our new house today. The carpet smelled like smoke but outside birds were singing. The first thing we did in the new house was pay our water bill and cooked some chili. Later in the day we went shopping and I bought a seashell necklace.

Alyssa Vandiver - Intro

My name is Alyssa Vandiver. I was born and raised in Boonville, MO. I moved to the Lake of the Ozarks at age nine and have lived there since. I attended Camdenton High School. I played volleyball and soccer in high school. I graduated in 2012 with a class of 306. I work two jobs currently. I just recently got a new job serving at a restaurant in Springfield and I’m also a server at a Mexican restaurant called Mexicali Blues back at the lake. I moved to Springfield in the beginning of August. I like Springfield because there's always something to do, but I'd way rather be in a small town. When I'm not working or going to school I like to spend time with my friends and family. I'm really close with my family. I have a younger brother who I'm pretty close with. I also have a chocolate lab who's my baby. I spend a lot of time with my brother and his friends just goofing off around town. Camdenton is a pretty small town with nothing to do but hangout in the Walmart parking lot but we always end up finding something fun to do anyway. During spring, summer and fall I love riding horses. I go trail riding as often as I can. I like to be outside and love to go floating and boating. I also spend a lot of time on our family farm in Houston, MO. In the future I would love to become a registered nurse and work in obstetrics, but now I'm kind of thinking about going to in criminal justice or becoming a special education teacher.
